A basic site of up to 4 pages. The only additional costs are those paid directly to the suppliers (Hosting company, Domain registration) to get the site up and running. This is the option if you just want a presence on the web (ie like a business card) or if you want to build a larger site sometime in the future.

Small Site                                                       £450

Medium Site                                                  £750

Up to a maximum of 12 pages, all the standard features such as Feedback Forms, E-mail links, Frames,  Rollover buttons, Hit-counter, Slide-shows, Music (if required), animated gifs etc.. Also included is a print out form should clients prefer to make purchases by post. E-commerce options are also available. Domain registration is included in the price for the 1st 2 years and Web Hosting is included in the price for one year.

Large Site                                                     £1200 for 20 pages

All of the above with extra pages.

Anything over twenty pages. The www.wildtiles.co.uk site has over eighty pages, large sites can have any number of pages, featuring transparent gifs (custom made company logos), multiple links, an AA Route finder, an events calendar,  several maps, e-commerce, pop-up windows and a course booking form. Whatever the client requires. Using a pre-installed content management system clients can also update their own web content (using a login/logout control panel) without any technical knowledge. Domain registration is included in the price for the 1st 2 years and Web Hosting is included in the price for the first year.

E commerce                                                     £190 (with PayPal)

E commerce solutions have never been more affordable.

Beginning with a small shop of up to 15 items, Up and Running Webs can now offer a fully functional On-line shop for an additional £190. Due to the recent takeover of Paypal by Ebay the same shopping software used at Ebay is now available to small online shops everywhere. Not only that but Paypal offer the same high level of security using the same secure servers that are currently in use at Ebay. Complete with a Shopping cart and Buy now buttons this shopping solution will enable you to trade effectively and securely from your own Website and receive an income which will be deposited directly into your bank account.

These are unavoidable costs that come with the world wide web. For example if you want a name for your business you will need to register a "Domain name". These come very cheap from some companies however price does not necessarily equate with reliability on the Internet. Up and Running Webs buys Domains from a proven Company in this area - Just the Name, (averaging about £9.99 - In the case of the .co.uk domains - for a two year period). An optional feature here is the inclusion of "URL masking" but this is only relevant if you use "Free web Hosting" with your service provider (or ISP).

Search Engine submission fees are becoming redundant as companies such as Google find sites very easily, consequently there is no longer a fee associated with web site submission. Up and running submits all it's sites to Google - and this is a free service. Web hosting (not a problem if you can use Free webspace provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) & a Guestbook if you want one. E-commerce solutions are also much cheaper now with the advent of Paypal. Owned and run by Ebay, Paypal has made e-commerce available to prospective vendors at much lower rates since 2006.

Web Hosting packages vary enormously and should be determined by which particular combination of services the customer requires, you might, for example, require the use of a Mysql Database (to run your dynamic online shop), Up and Running will source a large reliable Hosting Company with a proven track record that guarantees a reliable service. Prices are fairly reasonable now beginning at about £25 per annum.

This cost only applies if you require your site to be amended in the future. The current rate for this is £25 per hour. However your site will be maintained for free by Up and Running Webs.

Tutorials

Comprehensive tuition with worksheets & supplied software. You might wish to use an editing suite and F.T.P. (File Transfer Protocol) program. This knowledge permits the client to alter the content and appearance of his site at will. Previous classes have shown that the basics can easily be learned within one working day.

Tuition in managing your own online shop is included in the original price.

Prices are currently £100/£175 per half-day/full-day.
