Hi, my name is Brian. I grew up in Perthshire where I attended Breadalbane Academy. At the tender age of 16 I went on to do an Arts degree at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. After completing my degree I tried out a few different career paths including nursing (I trained at Gartnaval Royal hospital as an RMN), Research (working in Shetland for a number of years), and also spent several years in England working as a Stock Control Manager for a Belgian Chocolate Company.

Having lived in Wiltshire for a few years, I came back to Scotland and retrained in the I.T. industry. Following numerous I.T. courses and two years working for British Telecom in Edinburgh I designed my first website in 1999. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the combination of creative and logical skills needed in Web Design. It is also the case that no two projects are the same, as each project inevitably takes on the client's requirements.In October 2006 my partner and I moved from the east coast to the west coast to live in Elphin which is 15 miles north of Ullapool. We both consider ourselves very fortunate in having found such a pleasant place to live and work. |
